Real Madrid are still keen to land Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer, but any deal will hinge on the Merengue off-loading more of their stars to free up funds for the Frenchman.
Well, this still hinges on speculations and there have been no conclusive bids just yet even though it is obvious that Pogba is on Madrid's radar and most especially on Zidane's radar who is 'fellow French-man'.
That being said, there is still alot that will have to play out for talks to even begin, like off-loading players likes Gareth Bale, Isco, James Rodriquez, who despite being high-calibre players aren't garnering interests from the markets.
Real Madrid are certainly going to be adamant about releasing them without generating 'enough to attract Pogba' and 'change'.
Much can't be said just yet but Real Madrid is known for going all-out when they want something and well Pogba has never really come across as a man with a mind of his own and when his mind is in 'two places', he doesn't appear to possess character enough to 'keep delivering at Man United' and i am pretty sure Solskjaer is already spotting this traits.
I won't be surprised if Pogba becomes defiant and begins to act-up like he did in those clash times with Mourinho, to trigger a move.
And will he do well in Madrid? Well, he will certainly carry the gimmick along like 'he is doing something', a certain air that looks like swag but is actually a cover-up for lack of character, things need to really win in football.
When i see Pogba, i see someone like Ayew, who runs around energetically and shoots every shot without actually scoring, so much so that when you look, you can't really tell if he did something but you can't say that he did nothing either.
Pogba certainly has talent but for once he needs to be realistic, shed off some of the accolades and establish where he really is at in terms of his talent-level, so that there is room for growth. He certainly isn't at his peak but i don't see much evolution on-going, till a right balanced coach like 'perhaps Zidane' can pull that out.
Zidane appeared to have a level of success with the likes of Ronaldo but then again, Ronaldo can be a grown man when it comes down to it. Plus, Ronaldo's talent-level is up there.
I still wouldn't trade Isco, James or Bale for 'a Pogba' at this stage.
