According to the constitution of india that it doesn't not support dual citizenship, if any person want to participate in election, he must have only one citizenship and it must be Indian. The government ask opposition party leader Rahul Gandhi about his citizenship and claim that he is British. Bharatiya Janata Party lawmaker Subramanian Swamy claim that he is a director of a British company and he is also a citizen of Britain. so he can't contest in election according to indian perspective.
