Chris Froome will be forced out of cycling for "at least six months" as the scene of his horrific crash remains splattered in blood.
The four-time Tour de France winner suffered serious injuries after colliding with a wall during a practice run before stage four of the Criterium du Dauphine in Roanne, France on Wednesday.
Froome has since been in intensive care after undergoing successful operations to fix his injuries, which included a broken hip, femur, and fractured ribs.
