Brisingr is the third novel in the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. You can call it a teenage boy's Lord of The Rings. It's a whole notch below the quality of LOTR franchise. I'm still reading the third book and there is one last book remaining. The franchise started as a work of fiction by a teenager. The first book titled Eragon was published while the writer was only 19. The third book sold 550,000 copies on its first day of sale. The Guinness World Records recognized Christopher Paolini as the "youngest author of a bestselling book series" on January 5, 2011
For those who are interested, there was also a live action movie and a tie in video game made which I still haven't watched.
