Based on a true story
Renee knows she has issues with substances, but finding the courage to face her demons is something she just isn’t sure will “fix” her situation. In addition, Renee’s mind doesn’t allow her to see each new day as being any different from the next so time and interactions with the same type of people become blurred. She interacts with her girlfriend- wanting, hoping, needing, to be told she is loved, but never believing it when it is said. She interacts with a drug counselor, but the sessions are blurred because of how many times she has been to treatment. In fact, the only real person she acknowledges is Jeff- a heroin addict who speaks her language. Will she make it? No addict can ever answer that question until they shuffle off this mortal coil.
