This dog isn't mine and whenever we have a chance to meet on the street he always follows me. Brownie is his name and he is a dirty dog, never had a chance to take a bath ever since he was a small dog. The owner of this dog who died many years ago didn't even bother to tell his relatives to take care of his dog once he's gone because he's old and a chain smoker. Now he is a neglected, stray dog that lives and sleeps under the car, jeepney, on the streets whenever he is comfortable.
The one who now takes care of Brownie is my auntie, giving food every day like she treated Brownie as hers, but still, Brownie is a dubious dog that trusted no one because when he is young he was always maltreated and rejected in the community. I can't blame Brownie for that, he's in solace, nobody cares for him and he is on his own if there's anybody who really likes him to be treated like a human it's only my auntie and none other despite the fact Brownie will bite you any minute if he feels threatened with any kind of bad gesture you are showing once you are close to him.
