When midnight finally came, on April 30, 2018, The Walk of Faith Fountain at ADD Convention Center, Apalit, Pampanga came to life for public viewing for the first time. During the inauguration, this magnificent fountain 'danced' with songs of praises.
Bro. Daniel Razon barely mentioned it during the thanksgiving program earlier in the afternoon so the scene came as a complete surprise even to me, as one of the thousands of choir members who took part in singing along with it during the inauguration. While singing and dancing with upbeat praise music, many brethren also enjoyed watching fireworks.
Walking around the circumference, we saw many tablets with names of God's people who dedicated their lives in serving God from the ancient Biblical times to the future. It's like traveling back in time, if you recall the stories of their sacrifices and enthusiasm in faith. Just be prepared to get a little wet when a song begins to play!
The challenge when taking night photos of this kind of fountain is similar to that of shooting fireworks. You need to slow the shutter down a bit to capture more of the action but without a tripod, the images usually come out unclear. I had to zoom out or use the shorter kit lens with high ISO settings to get satisfactory results.
Post-production is essential. Even nicely-composed shots from high-end phones can turn out pale and even blurry in these shooting situations. My favorite shot is detailed below:
[Canon EOS 1300D, ƒ/5, 1/8sec, 18mm, ISO400] - Color and contrast enhancements with Google Photos made a lot of difference.
I took many photos that evening but I finally decided to upload a video along with some photos I shot when it's less crowded. I hope you enjoy them! Thumbnail Photo Credit
