Hello dear Steemians...
as promissed, today I'd show you another bunch of food planted in our garden. :)
My darling little kobold is so fond of fruit and veggies so that there is not much left for me anymore.
I have a little competitor now LOL.
I feel so sorry recently that she must be disappointed after trying to find another strawberry in our yard...
In this picture she found one single last tiny strawberry in a pot.
Well sweety, the strawberry season has passed... you need to wait another year again.
Now you can only enjoy some apples, grapes and tomatoes! ^_^
This is our first harvest of white grapes, last year it hasn't borne fruit yet so although we have rather plenty vines but the fruits are still quite small. However the taste is very sweet.
On the other hand we already have twiche harvest of this dark violet grapes. It's not as sweet as the white ones but it's more aromatic.
The next picture series are showing our tomate collections. I planted 3 kind of tomatoes this year. Cherry tomatoes which has a round shape and the one with a rather long oval shape and the last variety is the very large fleshy tomato.
Up to now only the round cherryy tomatoes have already ripened. They taste marvellous so that our little kobold just love to enjoy it as snack. Today she has again managed to eat 6 pieces of cherry tomatoes, a little apple and a big slice of goat cheese for dinner. :-D
The next ones are the Capsicum family members.
Now I have rather less tolerance towards spiciness so that I only dare to plant paprika, peperoni, and "Rawit" chili as well as cayenne pepper.
This is sweet paprika:
And then here comes our peperoni, cayenne pepper and rawit chili.
Zucchini...
Wasserspinat...
Arugula...
Chinese celery...
Cucumber...
Crannberries...
Bittermelon...
Spring onion
The last picture in the right pot are chinese broccoli. This veggie tastes really good so that I'd love to plant it my self since it's rarely found in Asian shop. However it seems like it's being eaten by caterpillar or perhaps a kind of bugs... I have no idea and only found the leaves are full of holes.
I now only plant arugula salad varieties since they are quite resistant against slugs. Otherwise I need to plant all the veggies in a pot and put them on a high bench at the terrace.
Even an elevated flower bed doesn't help much against slugs. They could climb up anyway as long as it's placed on the grassfield. But since we don't have enough space for it at our terrace, so we should just plant vegetable varieties which are not so loved to be eaten by slugs.
But it doesn't matter because we love arugula anyway. Even our little kobold loves to eat it too. :-D
Yes... our little princess loves to eat any kind of salad, even the one with strong taste like arugula.
I'm so glad that our daughter enjoys healthy food and I truly hope that it would stay this way.
Well... that's it for now and thank you for your upvotes ;-)
