Out near hole eighteen on a difficult disc golf course there are some old buildings and a silo. They were part of the old State Mental Hospital. It was a nearly independent facility where the patients ans staff took care of their own needs.
Some of the buildings and the outside of the silo:
The old abandoned silo is mostly sealed off with some wooded hatches but you can kind of look inside through a small hole in the wall. Rather than climb up the wall to get a better look I stuck my 360 camera inside and this is the result.
A careful observer might be able to spot part of my hand on the outside of the wall.
This is the only picture that the camera did not stitch together correctly but I liked the results so I have not bothered to go back and take another photo. I think it makes for an interesting effect when you look up towards the sky.
