Best known for his portrayal Rory Williams, a traveling companion of the 11th Doctor and husband to Amy Pond, he quickly became one of my favorite characters of the series due to his questioning everything around him that everyone else seemed to ignore. He is probably one of the only people not shocked about the "it's bigger on the inside" technology as well.
Starting out in the series, Rory was just a timid nurse and boyfriend of Amy Pond that helped out the 11th Doctor on his first adventure.
He joins Amy and the Doctor on their travels before dying...several times and eventually is turned into a Roman soldier. At this point, Rory becomes pretty much a bad ass and protects Amy while she's chillin' in a giant cube for thousands of years.
Of course him and Amy get married...
...and the Doctor totally dances at their wedding.
As expected, Amy and Rory have a baby, but Amy is kidnapped pretty much the entire time she is pregnant. This prompts Rory to go into total Roman bad ass mode to get her back.
With the help of the Doctor, he finally does find Amy and their baby and kinda loses his cool for a bit.
Melody is then taken away from them, and they finally learn their daughter Melody is in fact River Song. While on the search for little Melody, he continues his streak of being awesome, including punching Hitler.
He then continues to pretty much be husband goals for everyone out there.
While unfortunate things still happen to him...
...he continues to be the best Roman he can be.
