Dogs eat carrots
Being a cross Labrador our dog will always want to eat regardless of how much we feed him. He would cry and cry every time his human family eat. He pretty much vacuums up his meal in 0.5 seconds but we dont eat so fast so he would sit there looking starving crying for more while we eat.
Our vet recommended we start early getting him used to carrots and other veggies while he is young. If you introduce carrots to an older dog they would not take to it. you can pretty much feed your dog as many carrots as you like without worrying about your dog taking in too much calories.
He seams to like the carrots so far and it gives us a little break from his sad hungry puppy eyes.
