Beautiful morning here in the Pacific Northwest. Lately it's been lots of low clouds and rain, which I don't mind, but today the sun is out and it's great!
I thought I'd take advantage of the sun and take the poochies up the the park for a walk.
Look at all those leaves from the row of poplar trees!
This park use to have a bunch of pine trees but they got infested with the mountain pine beetle, an invasive species of beetle that eats the tree from the inside out, killing it dead ⚰️
The trees were cut down about three years ago, and it was sad at the time, but the park is looking great now with some new landscaping. There were plenty of people talking about it at the time, with a faction of folks saying they won't go to the park anymore 🤔
I understand being upset about most the trees in the local park getting cut down but it was unavoidable, so I hope those folks are back enjoying the park.

I think the NFL season is getting close to the end, so look for an update on the sweepstakes in the next couple days. Looks like after today's game there are four more weeks of regular season games 🎉
Time to get some coffee and warm up!
