I came into confact with Helping Pets North East when I adopted a little dog called Meggie in Feb 2017. Since then I have become one of their volunteers and proudly wear my Helping Pets hoodie.
Today I spent 3 hours out in the cold on the Helping Pets tombola stall. It was a freezing morning and my toes were numb but It felt good that I was doing something so worthwhile for a charity that only receives money through adoption and fundraising.
The picture shows our tombola stall with 2 other volunteers and Taff and Poppy who are both rescue dogs.
In april My hubby and I are walking 28K to raise money for Helping Pets North East.
Last year we walked 26K and raised £428 which was a massive help and paid off vet bills.
