I love doggy walks early in the morning. The world is washed clean and fresh. Trees and bushes are so alive.
Not many animals can be seen during these walks. Usual encounters like birds and deer are hidden somewhere so the only meets are with some snails and fire salamanders.
Like this beauty.

She, or he, was trying to hide in the foot of the moss covered tree when we surprised it on the path.
Amazing beauty of nature. It feels you with gratitude of being alive and be able to witness such splendor.

Technical note: isn't it interesting how my phone's camera can't cope with the contrasts? Wet and shiny salamander in front of moss. No focus at all.
Dogs didn't see it at all. They have their own agenda early in the morning.
The camera can't focus on Max neither. Black and constantly moving, it's impossible to make a still shot with Max on it.

SInce Puma doesn't like rain, nor water of any kind, she is unusually still during rainy walks. As if she was yearning to be home in the dry as soon as possible.

Finally, a view over the forest from our standard location. One day I will make a time lapse movie out of these photos. The collection is growing...

Will the rain stop soon? It's about time!
