It's already 2 years ago I introduced #dogtober.
The reason for that was to also have a "counterpart" of the
already very popular #caturday here on Steemit.
Like I said back then:
'Nothing against cats.
But 52 two times a year a special day for cats here on Steemit !?!?
High time to put a 'man's best friend' a bit in the spotlight here as well'.
That's me with my (male) Boxer 'Dunga', a pic taken some 3 years ago.
Dunga went to dogheaven, only a couple of months after having
introduced #dogtober.
Last year October I didn't feel like posting about it.
Also to avoid questions about my best friend who had gone.
But even though I don't own a dog anymore, I'll always stay a dog lover.
So for those who have one, I want to "revitalise" DOGTOBER.
And to YOU, who has a dog and can show me below a picture of
YOU, TOGETHER WITH YOUR (BUDDY) DOG,
along with a little comment about race and age for example,
