The International Airport of Ezeiza has as of today with new biometric doors of automated control in the Migration sectors, which allow the passengers to do the procedure themselves without modifying the level of control, in order to reduce times.
The new device was inaugurated by the Ministers of Transportation and Interior of the Nation, Guillermo Dietrich and Rogelio Frigerio, respectively.
The new technology, explained sources from the Dietrich portfolio, pursues "the objective of continuing to improve the travel experience and provide more facilities to travelers, the initiative aims to reduce waiting times and expedite the process in Migrations."
The automated control doors, known as "eGates", began to operate in the Arribos de Ezeiza area, while soon they will also operate in the Departures sector of the same airport.
The same system will also be implemented in the Aeroparque Jorge Newbery and in the Port of Buenos Aires.
"This new system that we are launching is a very important step, these biometric doors will not only speed up the transit times of the travelers, but will also allow us to gather accurate information, through digital technology, from who enter and leave Argentine territory, "stressed the Interior Minister.
