Things are getting crazy in the #plantnerd world over here! Everything is getting big, a new round of seeds is being started and some of the pepper and dwarf tomato plants are starting to flower! I am also getting ready to re-pot all of the herb seedlings for my new gig as an #herbfarmer and....we are chosing our logo for our little farm!! Come with me as I do all things plants today!
Pepper flower that has been pollinated! There are baby peppers!!
The Ditmarsher Pink Dwarf tomatoes are always the first to produce in the garden. These will be transferred to hanging baskets as well as the garden. They only reach 1.5 feet in height but sprawl everywhere!
Right now peas, greens, beets, winter and summer squash are being started, as well as a last round of flowers.

My seed tent is full again, so I need to make more room in the greenhouse. I dragged some skids over from the end of someone's driveway to put more trays on and decided to quickly chop some weeds out since I will be planting in here soon anyways.
Need to put some pallets down here to hold more plant trays
Ta-da! 20 minutes with the hoe and mini shovel and most of my weeds are gone!
Check out this score, a super long pallet!
Maximum pallets!
My Rosemary plants are doing fantastic now
A mess of herbs....Basil, Savory, Oregano and French Thyme
Now I have enough room to really rotate things, as well as bring more out. I am going to bring everything including seed starts out tomorrow. I have to do a mass re-potting of herbs for my CSA job.
All of these guys, and more will start to be transplanted tomorrow into 50 cell packs until I get them to the field in May. Here is a peek of some of the herbs and flowers being grown for my community.

Tomorrow is a big work day. I am hoping to transplant at least 1000 seedlings, start another 600 seeds and do a big cleanup outside. It seems the nice weather is coming finally, time to get serious about things!!
Oh, also planning on planting this Rhubarb in with the existing patch while dividing our old crowns. Busy times!
I hope you are having a great evening!
Thank you for reading! Take care of you and yours ❤
