When People You've Asked To Join Steem Have Refused, What Has Been The Most Common Reason?

I've found a lot of people to be suspicious when told about Steem and what it is about. While I think this is quite likely a result of portraying Steem in the wrong light, it seems to be a fairly common experience. I'm curious to hear why the people you have told about Steem have done so, if they have given any reason to decline.
