How do you feel about upvotes of 0.00003$?
In the Steem(it) system, there are a lot of small accounts, with a minimal voting power or value. Upvotes like “0.00003$”, a “3/100 000” part of a dollar, or a 0.003 percent of a cent are very frequent. You need 333.33 pieces of this to get 1 cent, or 33 333.33 of them to get one dollar (or SBD).
I know the owners of this votes are acting with their best goodwill and friendliness, trying to be part of the system, trying to curate. But sometimes I have the impression this has no real sense and makes only disturbing noise. The (hidden) transactions costs are, maybe, higher than the benefits.
The Facebook likes, for example, have all the equal weight but mean no income for the content creator. On Steemit, these small votes are more symbolic, don’t mean real income either.
What do you think? How do you feel about upvotes of 0.00003$?

- These symbolic votes are an important part of the system.
- These votes are unnecessary, superfluous.
- These votes are disturbing, annoying.
- If this makes somebody happy, why not, I don’t care.
