Small life is being genetically modified and turned into drones, will you just sit by and allow this?
“Scientists” at Charles Stark Draper Laboratory and Howard Hughes Medical Institute have taken it upon themselves to modify tiny creatures, in this case dragonflies, and turn them into remote controlled drones.
DragonflEye was created by genetically modifying regular dragonflies with "steering neurons" in the insect's spinal cord, which are light sensitive. Tiny, fiber-optic-like structures in the dragonfly's eyes send pulses of light to their brains, functionally controlling where the insect flies via remote control.
Please, don't assume we are living in the same world as we always have. Take a look around, technology has advanced so far, so fast. You can allow yourself to be entertained and distracted from the part you are playing in it all, or, you might you consider that you don't know everything and get curious.
