Hello everyone! I will show you the process of my drawing of a pitbull with a wreath of flowers and leaves. It took me a lot of time but i enjoyed every moment i was drawing <3
The materials i used were:
- White cardboard (letter size)
- HB pencil (for the sketch)
- Colored pencils (prismacolor premier)
- Watercolors (for the background)
- White and gold painting (for the details)
- A bit of gold glitter
It started with the sketch, where i used the pencil hb, although at the beginning i did not define the lines of the crown on his head, but i started to apply the color.
I made the eyes, the nose and part of its snout. Since i was a child i have always loved and respected animals, but dogs have been my favorites over everything, i can not describe their love for us, their sweetness, loyalty, fidelity and companionship. I just love them so much! It does not matter if it is of race or not <3
I fell in love when i finished his little face! So cute! <3. For the coat, first apply a light green color, so that when i used the light brown, i achieved the tone i needed and i was patiently mix with beige, intermediate brown and dark brown, plus a little pink for the areas of the snout and eyes.
And so i started to draw the flowers that i then needed to outline, i decided to write my name since i was uploading the process to some social networks and i wanted to avoid any inconvenience and despite having a reference, i had to change the tones a lot because i do not have such a wide range of colors.
I delineated all the flowers and leaves to put the color (i was mixing and testing colors at the top and bottom of the drawing xD) but i was enjoying the result. Especially his face so tender!
That's why i do not believe in the false myths about pitbull's, they are very strong and imposing, but they have a cute and beautiful personality. If there are aggressive pitbulls and with bad character, but it is only the result of a bad owner or mistreatment </3. When you have a pitbull and you educate it with love and affection, you will be returned a pure and infinite love as any other dog does.
Let's continue with the process:
I put a lot of effort into him and i must say that i completely loved the result!!!!
I placed the watercolors, the paintings, added the glitter and finally cut the surplus and finished my work!
Thanks so much for looking! A hug! <3 <3 <3
Let us love and care for animals.
Thanks to a person in the comments, i was able to know who was the author of the photograph i used as a reference, the credits of Sophie Gamand can look at the photo and follow it in Instragram, it is full of beautiful things! https://www.instagram.com/p/BFjHpXkEPai/ <3
