I have encouraged myself to make another grayscale drawing !! Lately I have been very interested in drawing robotic characters, and I will continue. This time I chose two legendary Mortal Kombat characters, called Cyborgs, for having some parts or their whole body changed to cybernetic parts, in order to improve their combat skills. I have no great knowledge of these characters but I will tell you a little about each one's story.
Me he animado a realizar otro dibujo en escala de grises!! Últimamente he estado muy interesada en dibujar personajes de estilo robótico, y seguiré. Esta vez escogí dos personajes legendarios de Mortal Kombat, denominados Cyborgs, por tener algunas partes o todo su cuerpo cambiado a partes cibernéticas, con el fin de mejorar sus habilidades en el combate. No tengo grandes conocimientos de estos personajes pero contaré un poco de la historia de cada uno.
Sektor was the first to undergo the process of robotization, and thus become the first cyborg, having no soul did not have the capacity to manifest feelings. 1 - I started with his head, I used pencils of drawing H and HB for the sketches, when adding shadows I used 3B and 6B.
2 - All that mechanical part of the neck looked quite difficult, however I tried that the tonalities could be differentiated.
1 - Comencé por su cabeza, utilicé lápices de dibujo H y HB para los bocetos, al momento de agregar sombras utilicé 3B y 6B.
2 - Toda esa parte mecánica del cuello se veía bastante difícil, sin embargo intenté que las tonalidades se pudieran diferenciar.
3 - Then I began to make part of his chest, I admit that this part took me a long time, I usually disproportionate the bodies if I do them very quickly, then I calmly spent a little time sketching it so that it would not be so disproportionate.
4 - Shading it was another process, I know I did not manage to make it identical but I felt satisfied with what I was doing.
3 - Luego comencé a hacer parte de su pecho, admito que esta parte me tomo mucho tiempo, yo suelo desproporcionar los cuerpos si los hago muy rápido, entonces con tranquilidad me dediqué un rato a bocetearlo de manera que no quedara tan desproporcionado.
4 - Sombrearlo fue otro proceso más, se que no logré que quedara identico pero me senti satisfecha con lo que estaba haciendo.

7 - I shaded the entire arm and added the details, those that look between what their joints should be, like gear simulation.

And ready, as you can see, I did not do exactly the same as the referential image, I positioned myself a little more in front, (in the referential image the view is positioned from a superior angle).

Cyrax was the second Lin Kuei warrior to undergo the process of robotization, in a moment like Sektor did not have the ability to feel, but was captured by Sub-Zero, who reprogrammed it. At the time he joined the Special Forces, a military group commanded by Jax. He was able to feel emotions again.

2 - As you can see as I go ahead I correct the errors, previously the front of his face was disproportionate, when I correct the shadow bit by bit.

2 - Como pueden notar a medida que avanzo corrijo los errores, anteriormente la parte delantera de su cara estaba desproporcionada, al sombrear corrijo poco a poco.

As advice, at the time of drawing in gray scale it is common to get our hands dirty, and I went to use a black sweater to cover my hand, in this way I did not stain all the paper.
Como consejo, al Momento de dibujar a escala de grises es común ensuciarnos las manos, y pasé a utilizar un suéter negro para cubrir mi mano, de esta manera no manchaba todo el papel.
Final photograph of me with the drawings, it was a 16 hour process, despite not being perfect, I completed each one in 8 hours (they were not followed, because I interrupted to do my daily activities) in two different days, which produced me burning in the fingers where I support the pencils for having lost the habit of drawing.

Fotografía final de mi con los dibujos, fue un proceso de 16 horas, a pesar de no ser perfecto, complete cada uno en 8 horas (no fueron seguidas, porque interrumpía para hacer mis actividades diarias) en dos días diferentes, lo que me produjo ardor en los dedos donde apoyo los lápices por haber perdido la costumbre de dibujar.
