Hello steemit friends a pleasure for me, make my first publication referring to my drawings, maybe you wonder why my first publication is about the design of a "COMPASS", well friends I refer to this instrument because I think it is the most reference to determine our horizon, that is why in this post I make an introduction on knowing What is a compass and what is it for? , in addition to other relationships that the compass has on our daily life.
WHAT IS A COMPASS?
A compass is an orientation instrument that uses a magnetic needle to indicate the Earth's magnetic north. Its operation is based on terrestrial magnetism, which is why it points to the magnetic north which corresponds to the geographic north, this in turn is unproductive in the north and south polar zones due to the convergence of the lines of forces of the earth's magnetic field .
