Ever since I took on the challenge of learning to draw I had dreamed of drawing an elephant and I had the opportunity today. The image I used as a reference you can see it by clicking here.
For some reason it occurred to me to add that little moon on his forehead, elephants like the moon convey peace, spirituality and comfort to me when I see them. Of course, I have never seen an elephant in real life but this is what I feel when I see pictures or anything about them.
I decided to work today only with graphite, an eraser, and a cotton swab for blurring.

Bienvenidos a mi blog y espacio creativo. Cada día intento compartir con vosotros un espacio en el que no sólo dejo volar mi inspiración y creatividad sino que también aprendo.
Desde que asumí el reto de aprender a dibujar había soñado con dibujar un elefante y hoy he tenido la oportunidad. La imagen que utilicé como referencia la podéis ver pinchando aquí.
Por algún motivo se me ocurrió añadir esa pequeña luna en su frente, los elefantes al igual que la luna me transmiten paz, espiritualidad y confort al verlos. Por supuesto, nunca he visto un elefante en la vida real pero esto es lo que siento al ver fotos o cualquier cosa sobre ellos.
Decidí trabajar hoy sólo con grafito, una goma de borrar y un bastoncillo para difuminar.
