Hello dear Steemians,
Today I would like to present you my favorite topic to draw that is a portrait. I am aware that this is a difficult job because every little mistake makes portrait unrecognizable but that is the challenge that attracts me. On the other hand the human face is something unique, everyone is different from other and I must say there are so many beautiful women around that bring me back to draw the beauty. The beauty is the powerful weapon, we can’t be objective when we deal with beauty and I am very fascinated by this treasure of nature. Some people have it but other not.
By the way, when I think about beauty that brings me back to my childhood and my first thought about beauty. I remember that time the most beautiful person in the whole world was my mother, she was for me young, kind, beautiful in one word the best. When I started the school I was surprised to hear the same stuff from my other schoolmates, with time I realized that there were really many other beautiful people around and I thought that may be later I would look with other eyes and would be more realistic. But nothing has been changed, my mom remained in my eyes the most beautiful person in my life, no matter if she was tired or if she was in her working clothes, was doing some gardening or busy with cooking when we had a family gathering. Nevertheless, I came to the conclusion that this is just something born, may be in our genes there is a program that always makes us to be not objective in relationship to our parents.
So here is my drawing of one of the beautiful woman, again the model from 80s Linda Evangelista, you probably noticed that I have done the drawing on my travel sketch block and with 2b graphite pencil, as last three days I was busy with my work, but even though I used every free moment and this is the result:

For those of you who do not know who is Linda Evangelista, I am attaching this video clip from 80’s when George Michael made a video to his song “Freedom” with many popular models of that time, Linda appears in the beginning of clip, the blond with black roll pullover. Just in case if my drawing is not so recognizable.
