Seeing @Ackza post about the exact same concept I have for a tribe is pretty strange. Especially considering a dream journal group on HIVE is pretty obscure. I never shared the concept in public because im paranoid of idea theft; but I've seriously considered launching a tribe of this nature.
This tribe would certainly prove if there is something to "prophetic" dreams of the future. Every dream would be timestamped and immutable! You couldn't edit your dreams without people being able to tell. It would be the ultimate proof of the "3rd eye" if such thing exists.
On a more physical Freudian level, it would help people go back through their subconscious for self therapeutic measures. It could help with stress, depression etc. People could analyze their nightmares to face their lifelong fears or even learn to lucid dream to make dreaming more realistic.
It's interesting that we both thought of the Dream journal idea for HIVE: Sort of like its an idea that's just floating out their in the Ether. It reminds me of this old website where allegedly a bunch of people were all seeing this same man in their dreams. Imagine if we actually made a tribe that proved that a collective subconscious exists.
The important question here is who among you would want to put forth an equal percent of BEE in order to launch this tribe? Outposts/tribes are expensive, but if we made a [dream] collective it wouldn't cost that much per user. BOOM we launch the tribe and we can build a SUBCONCIOUS hivemind from our collective memories. This would be invaluable to study and completely decentralized. Users could opt out and keep certain dreams private. There would be enough publicly shared dreams to make a comprehensive database.
