Last Thursday I had another fantastic day in the mountains around the Höllental Valley in Lower Austria. This time I didn't fly from the bottom up but the other way around: I hiked up the cliffs and flew down and to the other side of the valley:
On the way back I had to cross a steep via ferrata at end of the valley. I must admit I don't remember being so scared as I was in this particular passage! It was almost vertical and water was coming down everywhere making the descent very slippery and dangerous (I didn't have any lanyard
and carabiners to secure myself). Then after I made it save down I decided to fly up with my drone to see the via ferrata from a bird's eye:
