It's so liberating to find a platform that will allow me to actually speak my mind for once.
There are too many issues in the world that I disagree with. I spent several years listening to people on various platforms who spoke absolute sense about what shouldn't be controversial and they kept getting banned. It seems anything to the right of radical left is classed as "far-right" to our political elite. So while we sit in our ivory castles listening to Bob Marley singing "Everything's gonna be alright!" and literally believing the lyrics the online world turns into hell in a hand basket. We see classical liberals and conservatives getting de-platformed or censored for criticising left wing ideology like for example the crazy idea that there are more than two genders and pointing out the disturbing manifestations of radical Islam like FGM, grooming of young British girls and the beating of children in Madrassas, things that should concern any good leftie, while the hard left and Neo-Nazis get away with blatant Jew hate in the form of anti-zionism, the marginalisation and gaslighting by the Labour Party of British Jewry and demonisation of the best economic system known to mankind, the free market.
I remember some of my Jewish friends telling me about a Facebook page that pushed the blood libel, total "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" stuff and literally spreading lies about an entire ethnic and religious group with not even an ounce of truth behind it. The Facebook group was called called "Jewish Ritual Murder" and due to the libels (which I don't consider free speech) I reported it, not for hate speech because that's a bullshit term and totally subjective, but because it was lies and in many ways similar to "Protocols", something which helped drive pogroms against Jews from it's conception right up until now.
So as I said it's nice to have platform where I can vent and try to entertain at the same time.
I'll be talking about some of these issues in future posts as well as positive things that interest me.
A big thank you to my friend @brianoflondon who hooked me up on this awesome platform.
Here's a film I made about a trip to Black Rock in Derbyshire, England.
Steem on.
