There’s not a lot holding down floods in Mamaia Resort. If the weather is going to become angry the lake will take a little bit of effort to unite with its bigger sister, the Sea. They are communicating underneath so that’s why in the lake the water is pretty much salty and there are a lot of sea species thriving in there.
I guess this used to be an island, formed by the sea and the Danube. We still have some of these islands, manufactured by the Delta and the big river that’s bringing and collecting water starting with Germany. Still, Mamaia was not meant to be an island so the narrow strip of land that separated the two is now getting heavier and heavier as new buildings are being built every year. There’s barely any free space left and the worse thing is that it’s getting more and more crowded.
From up above things look calm and nice in spite of the fact that Mamaia is pumping with clubbing music in the North, while the South is struggling to exit the socialst era.
