This weekend, together with some friends, I went to a radio controlled airplanes, helicopters and drones' meeting in Ourém, Portugal. The fpvportugal.com bulletin board decided to start their own FPV drone racing club and they did it as part of the Pias Longas Aeroclube. This club is mainly for people that actually pilot real aircraft, but they accepted the FPV drone racing community with open arms, and we were there for the inauguration and fly a little.
Although the weather was not very friendly, everybody flew a little and there was even an indoor 3" FPV racing drone track. Everybody was very friendly and we all had a great time. I made a small video of a flight I did with one of my quads and I almost had a crash full speed with another quad in midair! :o
