If you follow my work, you know that I like to write about drugs and drug culture (mostly weed and psychedelics but they are all interesting). Well, just a little while ago I was having a conversation in the comments on such a post and the idea of creating a drug related tag that could serve as a repository for all the great drug content that is floating around this site came about. So, I wanted to bring this idea to anyone that is interested and get any feedback that you may wish to share. Plus I would like to know if there are tags with a similar concept that are already being used with any real frequency (if so it may be better to use them instead but I haven't seen one yet).
From what I have seen and from my own experience, we are spreading our drug content over a lot of different tags. Cannabis, marijuana, weed, psychedelic, psychedelics, drug , and drugs, all already exist as tags but someone who posts in "drug" may not think to check "psychedelics" to find similar content. In a sense, we are splitting up what could be one large community that could have real power to support and curate good drug culture content. This not to say that you can not use other tags too but maybe we could reserve one space for the new all encompassing drug tag.

This is just a thought on my part but I would love to know if anyone else is interested in doing this type of thing. I am too small to make this happen myself but if we can get enough people to start doing it, I think that we can build something really interesting and beneficial to drug culture content creators.
As far as the tag itself goes, I am not sure what to use. The first thing that came to my mind was intoxi-nation but I am open to using something different if you have a better idea. What the name is doesn't really matter as long as we all use the same tag for our drug culture content. I care about the community not the name.

I hope to hear what you think about all this. If you are on board, please share the idea in whatever way that you see fit. I, personally, think it might be nice if you all wrote your own post that introduces the tag to your followers in your own words. It is more personal than a resteemed article and might get more attention for the tag which is my goal.
