We're going on a little "old school meets new school" trip with today's tune. This remix I did of DaveyHub's Circle of Stars was another genre transformation from Davey's original house to drum and bass.

For me, it was the really cool old style piano break that made me "pop the question" and ask if he'd be cool with me remixing it. That and the spaced out sounds that are intertwined throughout this one. It felt like it just needed a little jet pack on the BPM to boost it up to 174!
I used pretty much all the elements from the original and just added my own drum pattern with a few re-arrangements on various sections to make it flow as a drum & bass tune.
Some inspiration for this also came from the tunes I used to listen to by Visionary with the long delays (echoes) on the sound effects and vocals. See if you can spot them throughout my remix.
