Today we are going to talk about Professions.
As you know in the lessons before we learned some professions in portuguese. So today we will make some sentences that we usually use in Portugal for professions.
Let's get started!
Neste momento estou desempregado(a) - At the moment I don't have a job.
O meu filho é médico - My son is a doctor.
A Rita é modelo. - Rita is a model.
Vocês são enfermeiros? - Are you nurses?
Elas são professoras. - They are teachers.
Quem são os trabalhadores? - Who are the workers?
A minha mãe é directora de uma empresa. My mother is a CEO.
Quem é o teu advogado? - Who is your lawyer?
O guarda usa um fato. The guard wears a suit.
Os polícias usam camisas azuis. The police officers wear blue shirts.
Eu sou um profissional. I am a professional.
Ela é uma empregada. - She is a waitress.
Os cozinheiros cozinham. The Cooks cook.
A minha tia é engenheira. My aunt is an engineer.
