Notes
Who's ready for some glitch/ambient on a Friday night? Lol... I made this experimental piece by playing a drum beat into Garageband with my keyboard and glitching/chopping it up. Then I recorded a synth part using an Arabic tuning (I couldn't find the specifics, but it seemed to have a flattened tritone.) Be forewarned, certain moments sound very unusual because of the tuning! Recorded a bass part, an ethnic bowed string instrument for a drone part, and a flute part for the ending of the first half. Then I created the ambient half of the song by creating a more progressive pad part to intersperse with the bowed drone. All of it is using the "Arabic I tuning" (Yamaha) in C, using A = 432 hz. I have a plan to use this with another artistic project, which is the reason for its title and its general bizarreness. Kudos if you can figure it out :-D The images are a hint. Have a great weekend! Let me know what you think of my experiment. :-)
