This project started when I called Darren and we talked about different styles of musics, then after that call I played some riffs and arpeggio, so I sent it to Darren. He wrote the lyrics pretty quickly and we both agreed on a story about a man travelling for the song subject. So, the man leaves home to search for a better life, but he doesn't find it because everything he has is back at home in his little town that he left behind.
It's a really great song that myself and Darren are extremely proud of, and have slaved over these past few weeks.
We both decided that music and composing can't be rushed and have agreed that quality over quantity is what we now strive for.
We hope you love STEPPING OUT as much as we did writing, performing and producing it.
Thanks again for your support.

Lyrics
He looked around at all the people that he loved and wondered why
What is out there in this big wide world of yours and mine
Will I find it and then bring it back to all of you
Treasures, stories, photographs and tales of old and new
Stepping in, stepping out,
Would he realise the world is there somehow
Looking up, looking down
Thinking that he needs to travel home somehow
These stories old and stories new
I will explain them all to you
How things all change in space and time
We all just hold on to each day
Floating back on wings of steel and trails of jet stream skies
Walking in and walking out to drums that play in time
Reaching in and reaching out to those he left behind
No regrets or memories he wants to live his life
Stepping in, stepping out,
Would he realise the world is there somehow
Looking up, looking down
Thinking that he needs to travel home somehow
These stories old and stories new
I will explain them all to you
How things all change in space and time
We all just hold on to each day
These stories old and stories new
I will explain them all to you
How things all change in space and time
We all just hold on to each day
