Lyrics:
Luna de Xelajú
>Luna gardenia silver,
That in my serenade,
You become song,
You who see me today singing,
You saw me crying
My disappointment
>Streets bathed in moonlight,
That they were the cradle of my youth,
I come to sing to my beloved,
The silver moon of my Xelajú.
>Luna de Xelajú,
What did you know how to shine,
In my nights of grief,
For a sweet-looking brunette,
Luna de Xelajú,
You gave me inspiration,
The song that I sing to you today,
Watered with tears of my heart.
>In my life there will not be,
More love than you,
Because you're not ungrateful,
My silver moon,
Luna de Xelajú,
>Moon that illuminated me,
On my nights of love,
And today you console the pain,
For a brunette who left me.
>In my life there will not be,
More love than you my love,
Because you're not ungrateful,
My silver moon,
Luna de Xelajú,
>Moon that illuminated me,
On my nights of love,
And today you console the pain,
For a brunette who left me.
