ENSAMBLE SINCRONÍA
It is a foursome founded in 2012 by the young musicians: Salvador Hernandez (violin), Jose Santeliz (mandolin), Felix Farfan (Venezuelan cuatro) and Vicente Santeliz (double bass); with the intention to exalt Venezuela’s traditional music and its different gender keeping its essence and, in turn, improving it with charming and jovial arrangements.
Ensamble Sincronía has done wonderful performances at the most important cities and theaters in Venezuela. In 2014 they participated at “Forde Traditional and World Music Festival” in Norway and, in 2015, took part on the “Music Beyond Borders” project in Lima, Peru.
They have shared stage with important musicians and groups as: Eddy Marcano and his acoustic foursome, Sverre Indris Joner, Susana Baca, Andreas Ljones, Afrocañete Ensemble, etc.
Currently, Sincronia Ensemble is working on their first discrografy production and their vision is to be a group recognized as ambassador of Venezuela’s identity through music all around Latin America and the world.
On this occasion I present you with a song called "Quitapesares".
I hope you like it.
