Hey guys, hope you're all having an amazing week!
Whew, I really needed to break my silence here! Truthfully, I started a new job this past week (which I'm stoked about; music-based and in my field) so I've been a bit slammed juggling the current workload with the training/settling into the new gig. Not that I didn't want to post here, but honestly it worked out well timing wise - I've been working on a ton of new stuff and want to make my next release in the next month or so. I'm hoping this is kind of the calm before the storm! I kind of agree with the idea that it's better to take a break every so often than resort to spamming thoughtless content when you're stuck in that bloggers-block, so I just gave myself a few days to recharge.
But yeah, even though right now it's really tough to juggle all the things, I think this new opportunity is going to give me more time all around to focus on music. Once the dust settles, I'll be 100% employed (and relatively stable) in the music industry, which has been my goal since I was probably like 16 (I'm 29 now lol). For Steemit and DSound, that just means more time and content for me to allocate here.
This track here is a little something I was just kinda playing around with lately. It's a synthpop-esque beat written for a vocalist (which isn't there yet, obviously lol). Not sure what to do with it yet, but it was fun to make!
