Nimiche and I had been working on a lot of her music over the course of 2017, and this EP we just released in December. She's a super talented songwriter, and the blend that we have is typically spot on. It ends up being a mix of her R&B/pop style, and my dance style. We did a 4-song EP for her entitled 'Chasing Euphoria' (this is the self-titled track). I made a couple posts about the progress in the past, but haven't said much about it or shared since we released.
I think from a commercial standpoint, this EP was one of the things best works I've done to date. Of course I love the progressive house/dubstep kind of stuff, but if I had any music that I've worked on that I think would have a chance to be picked up, or get some mainstream attention, I think this would probably be it! This song is definitely a great example of how cool it can be to collaborate with individuals outside of your genre. The two of us get along super well, musically and personally, and it was one of the smoothest experiences from a producers' standpoint that I've had to date.
As always, much love and thanks for listening!
