I try to draw inspiration from you sonically when i attempt to make a beat. I honestly look at sounds as colors & vibes. This sound has a real mellow vibe to it. The beat alone has layers to it. At first when you hear it it starts off with a drum loop, you can hear it but it’s filtered, when the beat kicks in i actually replace the drum loop with my own drums. I still leave the loop in there but you hear it in the background. The whole sound plays as a melody but i would say the lead is the main part. I didn’t want to take the lead out at all. So the filtered part is the hook. I added a simple bass line to give it that vibe. This beat makes you think or gets you inspired. That’s what i’m hoping for at least.
