This is one of the beats i felt i got robbed on. I had made this beat using this sample before anybody if you ask me. Literally like no longer than 5-6 months after i had made the beat i hear the sample on Kendrick Lamars album lol. Oh well. I at least get to know that i did the sample first. That’s all that matters to me. The sample is so dope i used it so many times. This is one of my fav samps. It pretty much carries the whole beat. I did add a real dope bassline to it. I added some bassline riffs and fx too, and it almost sounds like a real bass!! This is a reflective beat, something you write about something deep or conscious. I love what Kendrick did to his version. Only if that was my beat lol.
