They say I'm a dreamer, and I know I'm not the only one....guess who said that? So, I really fit the bill on that! I don't agree with any kind of nationalistic values, although I do follow my football team (COYS) and I support England when I watch them on TV playing another nation.....but I wouldn't go to the game, not to support England or the UK or Europe...I'm someone who thinks there should be no borders, free movement of everyone, no war, no religions.....but, we're human, and those "belong to" traits are natural to us, part of our DNA, and there are practical reasons too. So, the next best thing, without doing away with the borders etc., is to share the love, pursue peace, and remove all these power greedy despots and leaders who ruin everyone's lives in poorer countries around the world. This song is basically a dreamers type song along those lines, praising Lennon and Young for putting it out there..blaming the power hungry and the greedy for what's become of our world. In short, it's pure fancy, written along the chord progression I spoke of before....this was the first song using those chords in exactly the same sequence and timing.....
