The chorinho "Tico-Tico no Fubá" does not speak of anything other than a daring little bird that wants to eat all the corn flour in the silo. With this simple theme and a melody at once complex and catchy, the Brazilian author Zequinha de Abreu (1890-1935) achieved one of the greatest successes of Latin American popular music.
