In a society where Christmas, as any other festivity, has become a total commercial exploitation, many people spend money they don't have, buying useless, sometime expensive gifts, only because everyone else does.
While writing this song, I tried to picture myself in the position of the ones, less lucky, who have no-one or even a place to sleep, forgotten and ignored by a world too busy to pause and see....
Afterall, what is the real meaning of Christmas?
Lyrics
Coal, in my stocking this Christmas,
at least something to burn.
Next to a fire drum, here on my own,
fighting the cold.
Santa, is this what I wished for?
Now that the fire is extinguished,
it still burns in my heart.
I think that I've learnt a lesson,
ask no thing to anyone.
