DSound Gems Vol 11 - Steemit Music Review

This week I have been listening to alot of music on DSound and each time I compile one of these Steemian musician playlists it gets harder and harder to stick to my self imposed top 5. Well lets dive in then.

Jon Caturia and Mike Harrison Hive account@harrisonmir layer up some acoustic and electric guitars and indie vocal stylings. The stripped out breakdown and subsequent rebuild in the second half of the track gives a nice song structure keeps things interesting.

Hive account@qrittix fulfills the production duties on this nicely constructed electropop gem with some borderline trappy drums and glitched out piano loops. Hive account@soundlegion "has the beans in the pot" with the vocals here. There's a catchy chorus and the layering and harmonies of the vocals are perfect for the overall style here.

Hive account@drumoperator takes a track from his mobile modular tour recorded in a church in Cincinnati and gives it some mastering. Let the beautiful washes of generative analog wash over you.

Well this one is smooth as all get out. Jazzy piano and bass drift over Boom bap beats. Hive account@scuzzy manages to piece together another Gem. This one is crying out for someone to lay down some lyrical flows over.

Second Womb continue to impress with the frequency and quality of their output. The abstract vocals and production on True Fiction gel perfectly over the mellow looping detuned keys and simple lofi beats.
