Continuing the unveiling of instrumentals in the Rok Sivante music production vault...
Nothing ever really came of this one, because the beat itself was never a complete song.
The beat was dope.
But it really needed the proper vocalist and lyrics to take it somewhere. And that didn't happen. (Yet...?)
Regardless, it feels a shame to have this sitting on my hard drive for years with no one ever having listened to it. So, unleashed, here and now, on dSound, it shall be...
Listen to Rok Sivante's "Big Willie" on dSound
(note: I'm not sure how I ever came up with the "Big Willie" working title.)
While I'd always want this to be beefed up bigger, deeper, heavier, and richer... I can't say I'm dissatisfied with this one.
The guitars... ah.
Thrown in with the cruncy claps, driving kick, and crispy phat cymbals...
Though this could surely use a professional engineer's touch, I was really going for the "larger-than-life" vibe with this one - and, managed to pull it off fairly successfully.
Though it's missing that final power-punch of the right vocalist, this work is still a gem.
Should I die prematurely... I'll be happy to know I've left this nugget on the Steem blockchain for finding, should anyone ever be inclined to dig back and discover it.
And in the meantime, it's a pleasure to share this gift with the community.
Though I've kept it buried for a few years, relistening to it is providing a fresh dose of rich inspiration. And it is my hope and intention that you may experience a dose of that same uplifting energy upon your listen through.
Do listen on your best set of headphones and/or speakers for an optimized listening experience.
And enjoy...
