I'd withheld sharing this one on dSound, as it was never one of my favorites or bests.
Nonetheless, it still wasn't all that bad. So fuck it.
Never, would I have though I'd ever remix a track by Celine Dion. Yet, I'd come across a remix contest for the song, and there was something about it that seemed worthy of giving it a go. So, here it is...
Listen to Celine Dion "Loved Me Back To Life" Rok Sivante Remix on dSound
To my recollection, the only stems I'd used in this were the vocals.
Drums... Native Instruments Abbey Roads.
Guitars... yours truly.
Piano... NI.
Splashes of synth & effects... either Predator or Sylenth.
It was fun putting this together, as it had been a very different style than what else I'd been working on. Much more poppy. Organic elements.
And regardless of what stereotypes there might be around Celine Dion, she did do a wonderful job with the vocals here - and the vibe... gotta love.
Without further ado...
May your listening experience be a pleasurable one.
And may you be loved back to life, in whatever areas of your life it may be needed.
Or if you're abundantly alive and filled with love, may you pass it on and love back to life someone in your life, or someone who crosses your path, who could use your support in being loved back to life.
(So cheesey, yes. But hey. Why not). :-)
Enjoy!
