Ah ha ha haaaaaa...
Running out of original productions & remixes to post on dSound, it was time to reach into the vault for some of my classic DJ mixes. First selection:

Diggin' up gems like this is such a trip.
It's been about 6 years since I put this together at one of my demo mixes in preparation for arriving fresh to Bali, eager to land residencies at the dopest beach clubs. And, it's probably been 5 years since the last time I listened to this.
Wow.
Within the first minute, the smile hit my face like a Ram truck, soaking up that medley of samples over the funky-ass beat.
How quickly I forget.
Maybe it's that I've thrown myself so hard into crypto, that I've severed so many ties to my past to the extent that I'm continually amazed by my own work when it's revisited.
I don't mean to toot my own horn here. But my shit is dope.
I always had ridiculously high standards and exquisite taste when it came to music, and mixes like this meet and exceed them, pleasing the eardrums in a way so few of what I'd heard elsewhere did to such an extent.
This was the party mix of the Bali-intro trio.
Upbeat.
Funky as fuck.
Rich in phatness.
Oh man, I hate even trying to put the vibe into words, cuz there are none that could do it justice.
No cheese here. Only quality.
I never did play many shows of this particular style all the way through, though it's amazing how a well-constructed DJ mix can serve as a gateway to a distinct vibe explored during the time. How a collection of top-notch musical gems fused together with the most deliberate order and timing can create a flowing experience inviting exploration of dimensions we'd never know existed otherwise.
Fuck. I did not expect getting into this tonight.
But what a treat.
Sometimes borderline amesia can be a real blessing - totally forgetting huge gateways of awesomeness such as these, only to rediscover it all over again with a fresh set of ears:

Enough self-hype.
Time to let the music speak for itself...
Should anybody dig any particular track on this and be too lazy to Shazam it - although there are probably several on here that probably wouldn't even be in their database - here's the tracklist:
May this listening experience of yours fill you with as much joy as this has me.
Note it is a full 72-minute adventure.
Though should you fit this into your day somewhere, today or down the line, it is my hope and intention for your booty to be moved, soul to be uplifted, head bobbing until dizzy, and consciousness infused with the love that was poured into this, and all the amazingness that came out of its journey.
Bless.
And enjoy!
