The 3 Secret Steps To Take Everyday to Achieve Your Success by Terry Brock
How can you maintain professionalism and achieve the goals you want in the midst of an ever-changing environment that seems to be faster and faster all the time? What specific, real-world steps can you take to get the job done no matter what?
Hi I’m Terry Brock and I want to share three simple concepts that have revolutionized my life and the lives of many others. I make it a practice to apply these three principles and their accompanying steps every day. Sometimes I don’t get to it, but I know what I do, I always have a very good day.
We all need plans and the checklists to make sure we do what is right for us and our long-term goals. So, what can you do on a daily basis to make it easier for you to achieve the goals you want and be ready for whatever is coming down the pike? Here are three key “To Do” tasks for you that hold the magic. They are simple, but not easy. It requires discipline and work, but the rewards are enormous and worth all the effort.
Study. Every day you’ve got to fill your mind with market-valuable skills which can help you grow into the person you want to be. What are you listening to when driving or even cleaning up around home? Feed your brain with content that is going to help you long-term. I used to listen a lot to the local radio to be “up to date” on what is happening.
Ugh!
Most local radio shows are filled with news about traffic jams, crime in the city from last night, a barrage of worthless political rambling and a little bit of news. What good does that information do for you to strengthen your life? What if, instead of learning about the traffic jam on a given highway, you spent your time listening to quality, life-enhancing, educational material? Study through listening, reading, attending seminars and more is vital on a daily basis to get the skills you need.
Exercise. The body you live in is fragile. It has to be cared for diligently. This means getting the right amount of exercise. It means getting the right nutrition and food. It means getting the right amount of rest and relaxation. Talk to your health care practitioner and get a program that is right for you and your individual needs. Think muscle building, stretching and aerobic activity. Blend these into your daily life. Yes, I know you’re busy (I heard that excuse coming!). Find some available time each day and make it happen. Your health is worth it.
Meditation. Quieting your mind does wonders for health, your thinking and your overall disposition. We don’t have time to go into the scientific, medical benefits of meditation right now, but study up on this. Meditating doesn’t mean you have to go to some strange camp and cry some goofy mantra. Deep breathing in to a count of 7 and out to the count of 11 has a wonderful way of focusing the brain. When a thought of “I have to do this” comes, thank the thought, honor it, and place it on the side to be dealt with later. Quiet time, prayer, reflection or whatever works for you is the key here. And yes, do it every day.
Practice these 3 secrets on a daily basis. You’ll be creating the right environment for your own prosperity to manifest itself.
Do you practice these three principles and activities? How has that practice helped you? I’d love to hear from you. Please leave your comment below and if you enjoyed this please upvote it. That would mean a lot to me.
I look forward to hearing from you!
