In 1986 Los Cañoneros signed a contract with the record label Top Hits and for the first time we worked with a producer who shared our vision about gunboat music. It is in this album where the concept of the group begins to be shaped, as we understood it.
This first song has a jocular lyrics and talks about a boy who played the harmonica, a widely used instrument in the early twentieth century in Venezuela. It's a composition of mine and it's me who plays that instrument.
We did not have the original tracks of this album and the master was taken to Mexico after the sale of the record label. For that reason the audios are recorded directly from a long-play disc. That's the reason for some noises, scratches and cuts.

En 1986 Los Cañoneros firmaron contrato con el sello disquero Top Hits y por primera vez trabajamos con un productor que compartiera nuestra visión acerca de la música cañonera. Es en este disco donde se empieza a plasmar el concepto del grupo, tal como nosostros lo entendíamos.
Esta primera canción tiene una letra jocosa y habla sobre un muchacho que tocaba la armónica, un instrumento muy usado a principios del siglo XX en Venezuela. Es una composición mía y soy yo quien toca ese instrumento.
De este disco no nos quedaron las pistas originales y el master fue llevado a México luego de la venta de la casa disquera. Por esa razón los audios son grabados directo de un disco de larga duración. A eso se deben los ruidos y cortes.

Es ist eine Komposition von mir und es bin ich, der dieses Instrument spielt.
